What Is the Best Way to Get More Twitter Followers in 2017?

And decided to provide the best answer I possibly could so that their business would thrive on Twitter.  That answer follows for your own viewing pleasure.

If you’re wanting to increase your follower base so that you can secure more attention for customers and clients, then this is the article for you.

In the first section thoughts about what others are saying on the topic of increasing followers will be shared.  After that, I will share my own unique twist on how to make this happen in Twitter style.

I guarantee that no one else is providing the type of advice that I will be sharing in the way that I share it. Let’s get started.

Post Planner on Increasing Twitter Followers

I love Post Planner for generating high-quality content that others have shared within social media platforms.  I invest in very few tools for growing my Twitter account, but this is one that I absolutely use.  I am a very proud affiliate of Post Planner and highly recommend this product based on my own usage experiences.

Leeann takes a deep dive into how people build their following on Twitter.  The advice she shares is solid.  The problem is that she appears to approach thoughts about Twitter from a traditional mindset where you are driving people to you.  I think this is backward and I will share with you why in my own section of this article.

NOTE:  Please understand that the advice shared by Leeann will work if you remain consistently involved with the process.  It just won’t work as well as what you will experience by reading through my own thoughts which are soon to follow in this article.

 VIDEO: How to Get More Twitter Followers the Real Way (2017)

I took a slightly different approach this time by sharing a video related to this topic of securing more followers from Twitter.  While the process involved will work the problem arises in the concept of targeting visitors which Curtis very much did not do.

If you want a large following base thing this video will help you get the job done.  However, if you are interested in making your followers truly count for your niche company or business the deeper dive I share in my comments below really should be followed.

Either way, this is a 5-minute view and does bring up some excellent points on the topic of growing your following on Twitter.

On the plus side, these concepts are all super critical key components that really need to be understood and followed to make Twitter grow.  The weakness that I believe is intrinsically paramount within this content is the topic of depth.  The article is great for the beginner just getting into using Twitter but misses when it comes to advanced strategies for the experienced user.

Twitter Tools Book on Increasing Twitter Followers

ARTICLE: 75 FANTASTIC Ways to Get More Twitter Followers
AUTHOR: Garin Kilpatrick
PUBLISHED: February 27, 2017

I must admit that I did not read this article.  However, I mention it here for several reasons.

  1. 75 of anything all laser targeted to a single advent is huge.
  2. Garin has 441K followers: he obviously knows what he is talking about.
  3. What I see Garin doing in his Twitter stream confirms my views about point 2.

The disadvantage that I would see in this article is also the advantage.  I’m in the process of finishing this piece up before closing for the day and don’t have time to read through 75 of anything now.  However, given such a targeted approach to this exact question leaves me assured that I will be coming back to read further through his content when I’m able.

Life Wire on Increasing Twitter Followers

ARTICLE: 13 Ways to Get More Twitter Followers

I almost didn’t include this piece because of a couple of things I read.

  1. Subhead: Organic and slightly dirtier ways to get more followers on Twitter.
  2. Buy fake Five followers

First, there is no reason to pursue dirtier methods for building followers on Twitter.  In fact, they can get you into serious trouble with Twitter.  I prefer natural methods that work like a charm over trying to game the system.  The last thing I want to see with my own work is that my account has been terminated.

Second, fake followers even if they do cost only $5 are just too expensive.  They don’t have a true interest in your topic and do distract your attention from true connectivity.  Using my methods which I will describe shortly I took my own account from 5000 followers to 7000 in less than 30 days and so can you.

The one advantage to fake followers is found in that they make you look like something that you are not.  Unfortunately, this is easy to spot once you start tweeting.  Twitter has a growth curve for understanding how to use it to secure business deals.  Follow it or you’ll look like a fish out of water or would that be a bird out of the air?  Either way, it isn’t good.

However, there are good points brought out in this article which does make it worth the read.  Items covered include but are not limited to:

  1. Comment on blog posts using your @username
  2. Ask for retweets
  3. @ the authors of articles, you tweet

These are just 3 of the many points that are covered.  Many of which I believe would be solid gold for your success in working with Twitter.

 

In case you haven’t quite grasped my methodology yet, I’m not interested in growing Twitter followers.  Well, at least not within a random process that shows a number advancement only.

What good are 5B followers if they don’t do anything?

The following base I want to empower you into involves highly active niche targeted deal makers that are presently actively interested in engaging with the products or services that you are bringing to market.

My process won’t have you waking up tomorrow with 10K followers if you’ve currently only got 1.  However, as you proceed with implementing what I will show you a snowball effect will ensue.  As it takes over you will find more and more people following you.

While you can do this entire process manually, I don’t recommend it.  Instead, I recommend using the other affiliate program that I will mention in today’s article which is Social Quant.  It is an amazing resource.  Because of the 7-day intense training course, they offer for free I have returned to full steam ahead with Twitter.

Social Quant will ask you for keywords that you want to target.  Enter those based on the niche you are targeting.  They will then go to work on your behalf creating a follow campaign that targets those users.

Great, my work here is done.

Not quite.

In fact, in my opinion, it hasn’t even started.

While they busy themselves with finding the right kind of followers for you, you need to take those same categories and become actively engaged using the power of Twitter search.

 

Simply put those words into search, toggle to latest tweets and start talking to people.  Even better if you use hashtags and such.

STOP!

I’m wrong.

You don’t want to talk.  Well, at least not in the traditional sense of the word.  Instead, you want to take what I call the Socrates approach by asking key questions.

Yes, that’s right, if you want to build a raving fan base for your business don’t talk about you.  Talk about them.  They will see that you are different.  In the process, they will follow your tweets and begin engaging with you.  At some point, they may visit your profile where your 1-minute elevator speech that comes with ala pinned tweet is waiting for their arrival.

But what if they don’t come?

No worries, if you don’t lead with their UID, guess who sees the conversation taking place.  That’s right.  Their followers.  As your engagement ramps up more and more people will see that you are different and thus pay you the due respect you deserve and desire.

Not only do you want to be asking those questions, but you also want to monitor them.  Replying, interacting and engaging with your niche audience that truly is interested in exactly what you are doing.  In fact, I would go even further beyond that by liking, retweeting, commenting and doing whatever else you think to do in order to give them a first-class experience.

They are used to the old trick of them trying to be driven into your funnel.  Get rid of it.  Drive yourself into their funnel and watch the results of success begin to transpire.

Concluding Thoughts About Increasing Your Twitter Followers

As you can see, there are a ton of ways to make this process happen.  Which one’s you do or do not choose is up to you.  However, to suggest that I have even at this point fully covered the answer to this question would be entirely incorrect.
