Don’t want to work?
Yeah yeah, I know. That’s one of the oldest tricks in the book.
Worked, didn’t it?
For those that are still reading, get ready, get set and prepare to take charge of your content creation strategies.
Why Did I Build This Directory?
You really want to know?
I suppose you do, else you wouldn’t have asked.
This is my no holds barred attempt connect with amazing sites that I personally would love to work with.
Well, there you have it, but then why are you here?
Do you think I want to be working in some dark corner of the Web where nothing ever happens to anyone, even a spider?
If I did I wouldn’t take the time to put these awesome links below which you are about to be able to view. See, I know that their success is my (I mean your) success. If I (errr, you) make these guys happy, just think what they will do for your traffic volume.
I and you should not be after happy, we should be after elated, enthralled, ecstatic and
overjoyed.
So What Makes This 51 List So Awesome?
You do.
Or at least you should.
Here’s how.
Review the list. Click any link you like. You’ll notice that some clever Guy somewhere made it so that you can check out each and every option without ever having to leave the page.
Once done, leave a shout out for your own personal favorites in the comments below.
And if you see something not mentioned in the list, don’t you dare think of mentioning any more excellent resources when leaving your comment.
JUST KIDDING
There are a couple of rules that I would like you to follow before you do, though.
Ugly Horrible Rules You Must Follow
- Checkout Alexa and make sure that they are listed above 1 million.
- Visit the site and make sure that it deserves to be on the list per your own opinion.
- Have fun.
Ummm, those don’t seem to ugly or horrible but they sure will be helpful if you do.
Why?
Because those are the exact ingredients that went into the process of me putting this list together in the first place.
That plus visiting the site and looking for the single best word that I felt fit for the site in question.
On that note, and without further ado, I present my findings of the…

WARNING: I do know how to count, I just didn’t count on such amazing comments that would grow this list of 51. I apologize for the inconvenience of bringing you even more value, but not really.

Closing Comments About Cool Web Locations
Was that list helpful for you?
I hope so.
Took me several hours on a Sunday to put it altogether.
Course, you did help me escape the “honey do” list.
But I’m done now.
Would you do me a favor before you jet?
Actually two.
- If you haven’t left your comment yet, please do. Rumor has it that the more feedback a blog gets the more active it will be. Wait, that sorta makes sense, don’t you think?
- Look around at other options available on this blog. I’m a Pro Blogger, I’m a Marketing coach, I’m a Public Speaker. And in case you haven’t noticed I have fun wearing all 3 hats. Sometimes even simultaneously.
Okay, enough from me, your turn. Write me with your best shot!

Hey Guy,
I love Alltop, Blog Tyrant, Quicksprout, Moz and Pro Blogger, so glad to know they’re on your list! These sites are the reason I started blogging and even after 2 years now, I still read their posts and hope to become like them in the near future.
Maybe you should do a list of upcomig blogs in the near future? Those who are not super massive yet but having the potential to do so, that would be so awesome!
Are you in the same niche as these identified blogs?
Tell me more about what your goals, dreams and visions are.
I’m pleased that you liked the list.
Are there any others that you would add to a content marketing type list like this?
Thanks Guy, I discovered some excellent content marketing sites I hadn’t yet come across. However, there are a few you missed out. Just joking, it’s a good comprehensive list.
Well now, look what you’ve done. You’ve gone and made me spend time on your Website today. That’s where I got involved in the conversation about curated content. A must read series of articles that I recommend everyone consider reading. I’m looking at joining Bag the Web because of you.
And for the record, I do believe I missed an excellent content creation blog in my list.
Yours.
I corrected my errors, checkout the list again but only sueblimely. 🙂
Wow, this is a REALLY great list and a post filled with so much information! I will have to bookmark this site and continue reading. I found that just clicking on the first one, Alltop, takes a while to just read thru to see if it is something that might help me. I will be perusing the entire list!
I’m glad you enjoyed the list. I’m putting together a list that will be targeting social media today and plan for an SEO list coming soon. My goal is to bring extreme value to all your marketing endeavors.
Glad to see a very comprehensive list of top content marketing blogs! I have bookmarked your page so that I can return as needed. I don’t particularly want to subscribe to all of them.
One of my favorites is CoSchedule Blog. They cover best practices and content marketing. What I like in particular is that they use well-known companies as case studies and examples to follow.
I very bad thing happened on the way to my list.
I found CoSchedule wasn’t on it.
Thanks to you, it is now.
Glad this will be a valuable resource for you.
More to follow.
I’m so thrilled that I have found your blog! I have very little experience with blogging and having a web that I have built all by myself. I’m trying to learn how to bring traffic to my site without focusing on my clients from my salon with being the only people supporting by online business. I have a successful hair salon but with having a daughter and family I would love to make more but not spend more time in my salon on my feet all day. I’m hoping I can make an income online to balance what I would like to make in my future without having to put more time in my salon. My child already thinks we have to homes. .So, thank you for taking the time to create this blog. This will benefit me in so many ways! I’m running out of time with read every thing on your blog but I will be back! Again, Thanks.
Oh and love your sense of humor through your writing.
Hello Britni
Thanks for your kind words. I strive to offer the best value available anywhere on the web when it comes to building your blog. I’ve been doing this for years and love every minute of it.
Say, I do offer coaching opportunities and believe they would help super charge the efforts you are making for your Salon practice.
You can find out more about that here: http://startyourownaffiliatemarketingbusiness.com/affiliate-marketing-coach-mentor
These are some great content marketing sites. I actually had one of my sites submitted to Alltop which was pretty cool and gave me a little traffic.
I am also a huge fan of Neil Patel over at QuickSprout. They have a lot of good info on back links. However, I must say I have not heard of most of these so I guess I have some reading to do!
I didn’t see Brian Dean from Backlinko on your list, have you heard of him?
Glad you enjoy the list of content marketing sites.
Yes, I have heard of Brian Dean. When it comes to backlinks I consider those more of an SEO factor instead of a true content part.
Enjoy your reading and learning… it’s what the web is all about.
Great list, Guy. Out of all of these, the only one I had see before was KISSMetrics. I guess that’s a good thing because now I have a lot of blogs to check out that I have never seen. I think I may start out with Word to the Wise to learn something about email marketing. Thanks again.
Hello Andy – Awesome idea and enjoy. I love putting these lists together for people. I’m working on a list of 50 places to market and hope to have that available by tomorrow. Check back and I hope they help in your quest to rule the world – or at least make a living on the Web.
Man Man Man!, this is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a freaking ton for curating this list of websites for Content Marketing. I was trying to find a list like this since days. I do have a list of some 5-7 websites but I needed more because more websites means more wealth of information that I can absorb.
Thanks so much, you actually made it so easy for me. Thank you once again for curating this list and writing this post.
Glad I could help you in securing a resource for how to do content creation. I’m always happy when I see others are happy. I’ll be releasing more lists soon including the current one I’m working on which includes 50 different ways of doing online marketing.
Hello and thank you for writing this super informative article! I am just starting my first blog and I have been looking for a list of content marketing companies. I appreciate that you took the time to compile this list. It helps me a great deal as I am setting up my own storefront!
Thanks Audrey – I’m going to be releasing another list soon which features 50 ways you can do marketing online. Hoping to have the ready to roll by tomorrow or at least by the end of the week. Beyond that I will be doing a new list weekly for awhile – or at least that is my current plan.
good that I found your page. I only new 3 or 4 of these websites and, as an internet marketing newbie I need as many resources as possible. I particularly liked Blog Tyrant, the Content Marketing Institute and Kissmetrics. It’s funny when i think that many of the creators of these websites were at one point people like a me who just started a blog and probably would have never anticipated this level of success (or maybe they did or at least strived towards it). I’m definitely adding your page to my bookmarks.
Awesome news that is, I’m about to roll with a list of more than 50 ways to market your business online. If you enjoyed this one you will love that one.
Thanks for your feedback on the favorite content marketing sites. Enjoy discovering the others and check back as I have some interesting fun that I’m about to ignite here.
Watch for it.
I think your idea of business is great, I have never even thought about letting someone else write for me and I had different kind of blogs for many years… Of course I don’t have to many visitors but now starting an online business I might reconsider. Thanks for opening my eyes I will remember this, about letting someone else writing my posts. Also thanks for a lot of other valuable tips as well.
You are very welcome.
By the way – I do write for other people’s blogs. It is part of what keeps me in business along with coaching and public presentations.
Glad you found the list valuable. I’m getting ready to release another one hopefully today.
