I just completed a Google search for Twitter marketer secrets and found some basic stuff. The following sums up what I reviewed during my research.

Wow, don’t you feel so much smarter now?
If you didn’t already know the above, then you haven’t been paying attention. Instead of nauseatingly repeating the basics, I want to give you super simple steps you can implement today to explode your Twitter results.
NOTE: Before we get started, I’d like to say that I have given. amazing secrets in the following content that resulted in 1000% engagements in the first 14 days for me. Let’s deal with your profile first.
Creating Your Twitter Brand Image
I asked my wife to tell me the first thing she saw when she went to a new Twitter profile.
While that should have been an ahha moment for me, it wasn’t. Instead, I asked the question again thinking she didn’t hear what I said.
She again repeated with the one word answer of images followed by references to the header and profile details.
You know what?
So, I asked for the 2nd thing that she looked at. That’s when we started talking about the bio and I threw my twist in. Simply put, the bio is a waste of space.
She pushed back, but then it was my turn to be right. If a person doesn’t have enough information about you from looking at the banner, then your Graphic Artist didn’t do their job. That’s why telling people who you are in your bio is a waste of space.
Instead, you should be connecting with who they are while pressing on a pain point that your talents will be able to solve.
Guess how many people I see doing this?

Generating Pinned Tweet Power
I would say that about 50% of businesses pin tweets to the top of their profile.
While I don’t have any evidence to back me up on that, I can say that absolutely everyone does it wrong.
Everyone, but 1.
Guess who that 1 would be?
What do I do that no one else does?
I use the enter key within my tweet. That seems to simple, what’s my trick.
No really, that is the trick.
Here are 2 pinned tweets. Do you see any difference?
In my opinion, mine is super simple to scan while the other one must be read.

There is an emoticon generator on the right side when setting up your tweet. Use it!
That and adding images or videos does wonders for the success of your pinned tweet.

Tweetable Influencer Engagements
In opening I mentioned that everyone talks about “reaching out to Influencers” but no one does it the right way.
No one but… you know what’s coming so I’ll skip it.
At the time of this writing I have about 5K followers and climbing. I’m certainly not a mega influencer now but that is quickly changing.
One of the reasons for the change is my technique for connecting with Influencers.
HOT TIP: I love Follower Wonk for this strategy.
Let’s say you have identified the Influencer that you want to target.
Do you think they will respond if you send them a tweet requesting that they somehow pay attention to you?
What if you ask them a question that deals with the products or services that you offer?
That would be tweet spam and handled accordingly.
Let me ask you a question.
Guess what 99.999% of the world likes to talk about.
If you answered by saying “themselves” then you are 100% right.
So, what can you do to get people talking about themselves?
How about looking at their graphics, pinned tweet and bio. It shouldn’t be too difficult to come up with a question to ask from those details.
I do this all the time.
They are hot potatoes for likes and retweets.

Stream Fishing Twitter Style
If you’ve been following all these ideas, then you are now well positioned for explosive growth.
Receiving audience engagement is fun.
Do it right and you will have a steady stream flowing very quickly.
So, what should you do with it?
The obvious answer is to thank them. However, everyone does that so it’s nothing special.
Let’s step above the ordinary by adding them to a list.
I create separate lists for likes, retweets and comments. Then, once a day I go through these lists while like, retweeting and commenting my little heart out.
If someone has liked and retweeted me then they get added to both lists which doubles, there chance of being retweeted or liked by me.
I do my best to pick different people in each category.
However, what I have said so far really isn’t unique only to me. There are people that do this.
That’s why I take it to the next level.
On a regular basis, I will copy every name in the directory and setup a follow Friday type concept while building it the way that I spoke about pinned tweets above.
I’ll send those out with a provocative image attached.
HOT TIP: Don’t send these out back to back but stagger them throughout the day. I once had about 6 posts in a row like this to send and did so all at once. That caused about 70 people to immediately unfollow me. It was too much for them.
Before I close this section, let’s return to a conversation of who is being targeted.
In a way, sure.
In quite another way that is not the case.
You want to do everything possible to look, feel and smell like you are interested in the Influencer.
But you’re not.
You’re interested in their audience.
Get that Influencer talking to you by promoting them in a them focused way and guess what their audience will do.
They will become your audience.

Market Your Message on Images
I’m certain that I’m going to have push back on this one.
That’s why I don’t do it every time.
I also do it in such a way that I’m recognizing others more than me.
Here’s how it works.
After creating the lists as discussed above and compiling the details into a list format I use these images to promote them.
The images promote me at the same time so everyone wins.
It’s the small print in that bottom line that makes everything gel.
The hardest part of this process is creating the images. I currently have 6 that I am sending out.
Once they are created, I send them out on a regular basis. Just don’t do them back to back because I believe that led to a serious decline in followers for me.
Mix your tweets up to keep things going in the right direction.
Especially when sending out marketing messages.
BTW – Most people don’t know but you can pin Tweeper’s to your images.
This is done during the setup process.
I’m not convinced that it has an explosive growth marketing aspect to it, but thought it worth the mention while talking about images.
Final thought on this tip, unlike the other suggestions I cannot suggest that this tip will make a huge difference to your growth on Twitter.
However, with the right message at the bottom of the graphic it can be a positive ROI moment for your bottom line.
Don’t do this approach with every image and certainly not every tweet. Be very selective in the process.
Occasionally is fine.
Do this to much and it will work against you.
