I’m drowning in a sea of data.
As an Affiliate Marketer this might be your experience.
Today I would like to share with you some outsourced business solutions resources I personally use to offset this frustration allowing me to be far more productive than I end up being when everything becomes so overwhelming.
But first, I’d like to tell you about 200 places where you can receive guest post backlinks for your affiliate marketing project. For that information please visit: 200+ Locations Accepting Guest Bloggers.
I know, just one more thing to manage. What I do is pick 5 to 10 places that I want to build a relationship with and target those instead of everything.
BTW – I also share with you a super way to find targeted guest post opportunities for almost any niche in that article.
However, let’s get back to our topic at hand. These are not presented in any specific order so feel free to scroll through one option if it isn’t a right fit for you.
Upwork Outsourcing Opportunities
If this wasn’t the first option out of the gate for outsourcing I would not be doing you any favors. Upwork is a combination of two older platforms (Elance & ODesk) merging.
While it is an excellent place to find Freelancers, they now charge both service providers and clients for using their platform. Apparently, it is working because people are still using the platform even with the required charge.
No matter if you are looking for a Developer or a Marketer like myself they and so many others are connected to this platform. Simply login to your account after setting it up and use their search bar to identify the type of talent you are looking to secure.
You can setup your own job for people to apply to or you can seek out a specific service provider. I think the second option is typically used if you already know the person you want to have do the work. The first option gets you connected to whomever is looking for work within the topic your job post is about.
If I’m looking for a long-term partnership I use Upwork.
Fiverr Outsourcing Opportunities
If I just need something quick done such as a logo being made or an article written I find that Fiverr provides a better platform for this type of need.
Fiverr operates in the same way as Upwork where you can login to your account and search for the talent needed but the jobs typically only cost $5 per gig. You can buy extras which do increase the price of the gig but overall the cost is relatively minimal.
To use Fiverr successfully, after I look up a category of work, I pay attention to how many orders this gig has had as well as how close the service provider is to a 5-star rating. Obviously, if they have lots of work and a solid 5-star rating my interest in working with them increases substantially.
Another thing that I pay attention to on this platform is the type of feedback that has been left. If there are tons of people saying great things about this service provider, then I’m more interested in working with them.
However, please note that a service provider’s friends could potentially login and give 5 star ratings that are not real. Therefore, I also pay attention to the negative ratings. Hearing about bad experiences people have had, I can hav a more rounded process for making my decision.
It should be noted here that there is nothing stopping a service provider’s competitors from requesting a gig and then providing negative feedback in-order to get people to look at their account instead. While this may sound like an unscrupulous way of doing business, I would be very shortsighted to believe that it doesn’t take place.
IWriter Outsourcing Opportunities
When speaking about outsourcing, you most always will see references to Upwork and Fiverr. However, one thing you need for your affiliate marketing business is content.
While content certainly comes in the form of images, videos, audio and the like; articles are the primary component at the core of content creation for the Web. When it comes to content that needs to be created I turn to IWriter.
With IWriter, I tell the system what type of article I am after. Providing such details as the keyword target, associated Website URL, amount of words required and the like. If I have special instructions for the project I can provide those details too.
IWriter also allows you the ability to choose the level of writer desired. The higher the writer is on the professional scale the more you will pay. If you want to risk having to do extensive editing, then keep that option at default. I typically go one step up to “professional” and find that the writing at this level is exactly what I need.
An Awesome Secret About IWriter
This works for any of the options above but because I use Iwriter for writing it works best for me on that platform. Early on in this post I spoke about platforms that welcome guest bloggers. This is an awesome way to secure high quality backlinks.
However, that means you need to do more writing than just your blog. Not sure about you, but when it comes to providing high quality content to my niche I want to focus my attention directly on sites that I own.
That is why I often have others write articles for guest post. That talent I secure from IWriter directly. I like this approach because I can edit the articles before I send them out. Even better, while editing I can add in my own thoughts which further increases the value of the content.
Without creating my affiliate marketing content in this way, I need to do research along with writing. However, with this method I can just build on someone else’s content and still ensure that the voice I am creating for my audience stays intact.
So, if I’m needing an article that is at least 1000 words long, I will request one that is 700 and build the other 300 in myself. This cuts my cost while providing me with a solid background for research. It works amazingly well, in my opinion.
Moving Beyond My Outsourcing Locations
To suggest that these platforms are the only ones to use for outsourcing would be an error on my part. They are simply the one’s I personally use.
What if you need an outsourcer who is a sales person? There are options available.
The first step is to identify the type of talent that you are after for your affiliate marketing business. Once done, weigh the different advantages and disadvantages of the platforms you are considering using.
If you need more platforms to choose from do a Google and plenty will be made available. Your search might look something like this: “Where can I find an outsourcer?”
There is a downside to using outsourcers which people rarely talk about.
What if you hire someone and it doesn’t work out between the two of you?
This can lead to greater frustrations instead of the relief you were seeking. It happens. It has happened to me.
But consider this.
You hire someone as an employee to do a certain task. They don’t measure up to your requirements to the point that you have decided to dismiss them. Offloading an employee can quickly become much more difficult than releasing a contractor. My hope is that you won’t need to experience that, but it is still something to be aware of.
Closing Thoughts About Outsourcing
There are huge advantages to outsourcing which can include making up for areas where you are weak and being able to get more done within your affiliate marketing business. Unfortunately, disadvantages also exist. Which means you need to carefully weigh the positive and negative points of hiring your outsourcer before doing it.
Further, make sure that you have the funds available to fulfill what you are after with your outsourced help. There is nothing worse than getting started with a project only to realize that it will not be able to be completed due to a lack of funding.
Have you used outsourcers with your affiliate marketing business yet? If so what has your experience been? What concerns or questions arise for you that are related to this topic? Please leave your comments below and I’ll be pleased to answer them accordingly.
